Ben Jacobs: Nadia Nadim to sign AC Milan renewal and take on Zlatan-esque role – Sempre Milan

The Serie A Femminile season is coming to an end and the AC Milan Women will play their final match of the season on Saturday. The team already has their eye on the future and will undergo yet another rebuilding process this summer. One of the players that will be a part of this reformation is forward Nadia Nadim.

As per English journalist Ben Jacobs, Nadim has been offered a one-year contract extension with the club. In addition to this, Nadim has also been offered another role, in that of a senior advisor.

The Danish player has had multiple meetings with Milan’s management and RedBird wants to give her a role similar to the one Zlatan Ibrahimović has for the men’s team. Nadim’s role would be analogous to Ibra’s and would see her being an advisor for the women’s team.

The forward has played a total of eight matches and started five since transferring to the team this January. And though her playing time at the club has been brief, Nadim is a storied player who has many notable achievements and her general presence on the team has enhanced Milan’s overall image.

Part of the team’s rebuilding process includes overhauling their image and Nadim might be the one that leads them into a brighter future.

Exclusive: Milan keen to offer Nadia Nadim a new contract. She has already held multiple meetings with Milan executives.

A one-year extension is likely to be offered to Nadim, who is represented by Neverland Management’s Michael Kallback.
