Lucas Hernandez (28) will be in attendance at the Parc des Princes tonight as Paris Saint-Germain hope to overcome Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League semi-final.

The fullback was forced off the pitch in the game at the Signal Iduna Park when the defender ruptured his anterior cruciate ligament ending not only his debut season in the capital but also ruling him out of any involvement in the summer Euro.

It was terrible news for the defender after he had only recovered ahead of this campaign from a previous injury to his knee which saw him ruled out of the 2022 World Cup and the entirety of the 2022/23 season.

On Instagram, the defender captioned a picture of himself and his partner en route back to the city, with the statement “Back in time for the game… with my brand new knee.”
