PSG’s Presnel Kimpembe resumes individual training – Get French Football News

Paris Saint-Germain defender Presnel Kimpembe (28) has trained individually for the first time since undergoing an operation on his achilles tendon at the start of the year.

According to L’Équipe,  the Frenchman carried out “Individual exercises with the ball”. Despite the positive development in his recovery, Kimpembe is not expected to play again before the end of the season, having been out of action since February 2023.  A more realistic return date would be in pre-season, giving him ample time to build up his strength after such a long lay off.

The defender has made 257 appearances in all competitions for the Parisians since being promoted to the senior squad in 2015, scoring four goals and providing three assists.  He has won seven Ligue 1 titles, along with five Coupe de France trophies for PSG, as well as a World Cup and a Nations League with the French national team.
